Jay Smith is a PMO Architect and Evangelist for Tyson Foods, Inc. inSpringdale, AR. He is responsible for the design and development ofseveral applications that make up the Enterprise Project Managementtools for Tyson Foods. Before joining Tyson Foods, Inc, Jay worked asa Windows Server Engineer at Wal-Mart Stores Inc. where he begun hisdevelopment career with Visual Basic 3 creating reporting applicationsfor the World's Largest Retailer.

In today's world of rapidly changing UI's it is very important toisolate our business logic into a separate layer to avoid having tore-write it every time the UI technology changes. In this session Iwill cover some ways to extract you business logic from the UI layerand encapsulate it in the Presentation layer making upgrading the UIclean and straight forward.
